DAY 365!!!
Today was supposed to be some epic picture, but we were kind of dry on ideas. I liked the reflection of the sun in the rearview though.
I can’t believe this project is finally over! I’ve learned a lot and wish I could have completed it in full. I might try again sometime in the near future, but for now, I just want to enjoy taking pictures and not feel pressured to post one every day even if it’s a bad one. Thanks for looking!

Day 361
I can’t believe Lynelle convinced me to go through with this. She used a rock on the top of a mountain as a palette and my face as her canvas. The wind made things difficult and I didn’t have enough zoom on my camera to make the airport shots worth while.

Day 359
I wish we had longer here. This vacation is going to feel like two days of driving and one day of relaxing. Some bamboo plants at the end of the driveway/massive hill.

Day 358
More pictures on flickr. Long day. I got to wander around downtown for a bit after visiting USC (which I liked more than I thought I would) then went to Santa Monica for the sunset and dinner.

Day 357
I drove into Encino, CA today to see our friends’ house in the hills that overlook the San Fernando Valley. Behind the trees in this picture is pretty much the complete expanse of the entire valley. It’s awesome. Tomorrow, I’m visiting USC so that my college decision can at least be fair (really leaning towards UW right now). So we’ll see how that goes.

Day 345
Woke up to some snow on the higher part of the hills surrounding us, then drove up the highway some more to where it really accumulated. We wandered Windy Point on some rock outcrops and took more pictures, then headed back up to Phoenix. The cold and discomfort was worth it.

Day 344
Lynelle, Val and I drove down to Tucson/Mount Lemmon today to camp. We knew this entire week that it would be cold, rainy, and possibly snowing. But that made it all the more exciting - especially the thought of snow, in April. We couldn’t even see the mountain until we were right up underneath it, and the tops were shielded by clouds. Once we got a couple miles up the road, I could only see ten feet in front of me on the road. We drove until the roads got icy, then headed back down to set up camp in the sleet then had a nice fire when it finally dried up.

Day 342
Tonight was the last improv show of the year, and that I’ll see ever. We got to watch some of it from the catwalks above the auditorium.

Day 337
Top of A-Mountain in Tempe tonight, I didn’t think the view would be so good. It’s where Val and I tried to go for the fourth of July to get pictures of the fireworks over the lake. Hopefully I can get back there before this month is over.
